Staff members at GCMS were feeling the holiday spirit today! So many "six sevens" 🤷🏻♀️ around the building, as well as the Lorax, Woody, and a hippie. Happy Halloween!

8th grade students finished up their spooky story unit today. If they chose to write a short story, they read it out loud. If they chose a comic, they read through it while Ms. Spoor projected a picture on the board.

Scrapbook club met on Wednesday and worked on their projects!

On Tuesday, 8th graders practiced using Punnett Squares in their genetics unit to create monsters and predict the traits of monster offspring. All while listening to DJ Siskow’s awesome Halloween Playlist!

It might be raining and dreary outside, but GCMS teachers are still having a good day! Mr. Schram, Mr. Dostal, and Mr. Jones were all smiles this morning greeting students.

Happy Halloween from ASL Club!
On Monday, ASL Club had a blast learning some Halloween themed signs. Students learned new signs and then applied it to a Halloween themed Signed Bingo. We had several brave volunteers who helped call/sign each Bingo. A special thanks to Stacy Luther, for volunteering and setting up our Halloween activity.

Students in Ms. Spoor's English class listened to Halloween music while working on spooky writings with their partners and students in Ms. Storey's Reading class came to the library for a variety of activities including new book previews, a scavenger hunt, and a bookmark station.
